Our driving range has become a hub for junior golf instruction in Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. The free “Golf Clinics,” sponsored by the Junior Golf Foundation of Fredericksburg, have introduced hundreds of children to the game over the years. In partnership with Boot Ranch, these popular weekly clinics run from June through August, giving participants access to both facilities and expanded opportunities to learn and play.
For summer 2026, clinics at Lady Bird will be held on June 6, June 20, July 11, July 25, and August 1, culminating with the Hill Country Drive, Chip & Putt Competition on August 15.
Each summer, we co-host the Hill Country Junior League, a series of golf tournaments for children ages 7–13 held across three local courses. Designed to be fun for both kids and families, the league brings together boys and girls of all skill levels in a supportive, two- or three-person scramble format that encourages mentorship, builds confidence, and promotes sportsmanship. Each match is six holes (or two hours, whichever comes first) and features a mix of modified par 3s, 4s, and 5s.
