Chris Meade, General Manager, PGA
Chris Meade is a seasoned golf professional with a career spanning multiple leadership roles at premier courses, including The Oaks Golf Club (Mississippi), Carvel Country Club (New York), Murder Rock Golf Club (Missouri), South Padre Island Golf Club (Texas), and Stonebridge Ranch Country Club (Texas). Since joining Touchstone Golf in 2013, he has served as both the General Manager of Lady Bird Golf Course and a regional manager for the company.
A dedicated advocate for player development, Chris has consistently championed strong programming calendars at his properties, ensuring there is always something fun and engaging for golfers of all levels. He is especially passionate about junior golf and is committed to introducing new players to the game. In recognition of his efforts, Chris was honored as a Master Kids Coach by U.S. Kids Golf in 2024 – the highest distinction awarded by the organization.
Chris is a Quarter Century Club member of the PGA and brings decades of experience to his role. He and his wife, Cristina, live in Fredericksburg with their son, Nicklaus.
Eleazar Miramontes, Superintendent, GCSAA
Eleazar “Chino” Miramontes began his career in North Texas as an assistant superintendent at Bear Creek Golf Club in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He later moved to the southern end of the Metroplex, working in Granbury before spending 15 years in the Rio Grande Valley. There, he served at various courses, including McAllen Country Club, Cimarron Country Club, and Tierra Santa Golf Club. Now with Lady Bird, Chino brings a deep passion for maintaining golf courses and enjoys golfing in his free time. He is dedicated to making the best out of any situation and maximizing the potential of the course.
