The Story Behind #ladybirdgolftravels – A Journey of Community, Connections and Discovery

When we launched #ladybirdgolftravels in April 2018, it started simply: a fun way for our community to bring Lady Bird along on their golf trips, send photos, and share those moments with fellow members and fans. What began as a lighthearted idea has grown into something much richer: a global gallery of stories, places, and friendships, all tied together by a little golf ball (or logoed item) and a shared love of travel.

The campaign is interactive and personal, a living forum where our followers aren’t just watching; they are the content. Each photo adds a small piece to someone’s journey, turning the Lady Bird golf ball into a kind of passport that travels through landscapes, landmarks, courses, and local scenes we might never have discovered on our own. It builds genuine connection, sparking stories and curiosity as members share where they’ve been, and it inspires others to dream up new destinations – from Marrakech to Madeira, St. Andrews, and beyond.

Since 2018, #ladybirdgolftravels has reached more than 15 U.S. states and over 200 locations worldwide. Golfers, travelers, and explorers alike have snapped photos and invited us to travel vicariously with them. A quick scroll through Instagram shows Lady Bird has popped up across Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America, and more. (Search the hashtag and you’ll find posts from places like Venice, Paris, London, Phuket, and beyond.)

Our dream? To see Lady Bird in every U.S. state – and in every country around the world.
Do you have a trip coming up? Take a Lady Bird golf ball (or any logoed item) along for the ride. Photograph it somewhere special – near a landmark, a local golf course, a natural wonder, or even with the local wildlife. Tag your post #ladybirdgolftravels and send it our way. We’ll share it with the community and, quite literally, travel the world with you.

We can’t wait to see where Lady Bird goes next! Will it be your hometown, a hidden gem, or a far-off dream destination? Pack the ball, point the camera, and let’s go.
